Leaves and Bare Fields

This is the view we will have for the next few weeks. Lots of falling leaves and a view of brown fields until next year's crops start to appear.

I went for an early coffee to a local farm shop with Yvette, who I havent seen for a while. So lots of catching up. Then off to collect my veg box. For the first time I left some squashes because I know I wont use them. They are just not a veg either of us like! I made a big pot of leek and potato soup with celery and carrots too. We love veg but not squashy type ones!

Today I heard from the museum where I volunteered before Covid and have let them know Id love to come back again. So we will see!
