SPLASH!!!

I took the plunge. Catriona and I donned our swimsuits and went for a swim in St Monans Tidal Pool early this morning.

It was everything people said it would be: exhilarating, invigorating, exciting, and bloody cold.
It actually wasn’t as cold as I expected it to be, but it was cold enough to take my breath away. It felt better once I was submerged and swimming.
We both enjoyed it so much that we’re going back on Friday for another wee swim. We chose this pool rather than Pittenweem pool since it’s not quite so deep.
