BLIPMEET AT THE COAST

Caught a bus then a metro ( which was 15 mins late ) to Tynemouth this morning to meet up with blip friends Pat (Shygirl73 ) and Chris ( 60plus ) and Chris's husband Roy.  We walked to Northumberland Park where we sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed coffee and snacks. 

Then we headed to the Ray Lonsdale Fiddlers Green statue near the Fish Quay - as seen in my blip collage. Then we carried on walking to the Collingwood Monument. I have added an Extra collage showing the monument with three blippers sitting on the steps, some views of the area ....... and a young seagull.

We completed our loop and ended up back at Tynemouth Metro Station.  Pat and I got the metro - Pats journey was just a couple of stops and I carried on back to Newcastle.  Quick shopping trip in Waitrose before getting the bus home.

Had a lovely time - its always fun to meet up with Pat, Chris and Roy and we were so lucky with the weather as it was warm and sunny the whole time.  Hopefully it won't be too long before we can get together again.
