Proof of life

About 14 years ago, my daughter and I found these suisen (daffodils?) growing in the crook of an ancient cherry tree down on the riv. I try to get us to revisit them every year to just laugh at the marvel of the chance it took to plop a seed in this place way off the ground...and for them to come back year after year. However, these days my daughter is "all grown up" (20) and hasn't yet "re-discovered" the simple beauty involved in finding such marvels of the universe.

And so, maybe I'll just give this pic to Sue(scape). I reckon she'll know what to do with it. :-)
