Ewenton Park
Today I went for a masked walk with two fully vacced friends, in my local government area, and within 5km of their homes. So lots of covid compliance! We walked around the Balmain peninsula which provides great water views, some of the working port and others across to the city skyline. While the photo doesn't show the Harbour Bridge or Opera House, we glimpsed them as we progressed around the point.
The low blue building on the left is the NSW Police Marine Area Command. The very tall building across the water is the visible-from-just-about-everywhere Crown Casino. Out of sight and behind me is the grand heritage listed house Ewenton which was built in the 1850s. The land in front is now Ewenton Park. I really like its amphitheatre style public access to the water.
Stay well all.
