Slimy Is Still Here!!

I was tidying a few bits in the garden this afternoon (as if I have not had enough of tidying in the last few weeks) and as I lifted a plant tray who should pop out but Slimy (as christened by our granddaughters last year)

However there is not just one frog but two…. (I actually have no idea if one of them is the same one as before)…

We had a very frustrating morning - we went to Wetherby to get a few items of food - but it turned into a nightmare…

We got to the supermarket and the car park was full and there were people queuing for spaces (just like at TSTMNBM)…. so we decided to head to Tadcaster - but about 3/4 of the way there the road was closed - and no diversion in place (any diversion from there would probably have involved going to York)…so we decided to turn round and head to Boston Spa for a coffee on our way home - but car park there was full as were all the cafés! So we nipped into a convenience store for a loaf of bread and some milk (and a bottle of wine fell into the basket somehow)…

We got our coffee at home (eventually)….

So tea tonight will be whatever we can find in the freezer and/or store cupboard.. we may yet be having a jar of tomato and basil sauce and some frozen peas….with some red wine to wash it down….
