No Double Jamming Today

I decided to give the jam another 24 hours reprieve before I start experimenting with trying to see if heating it up again will get it to setting point.  Tastes nice but who needs 10 jars of very runny jam?  Instead I did various other jobs including helping M with measuring how many metres of chimney liner we need to order.  This involved him dropping a spanner tied to string down the chimney and me telling him when it arrived in the stove.  Then you measure the string.  All very scientific.  I do love a Morso in spite of the mucky maintenance jobs.  It is so well made that those 4 bolts which have been in (a very hot) place for well over 20 years could still be undone without having to grind them off.  The little things in life ....
