The runner

The majority of today has been spent in town - collecting prescriptions, looking for new curtains and blinds, etc, and spending the afternoon with a very good friend, drinking coffee and talking about life and families - their strengths and weaknesses, you know the stuff.  There were a lot of people out too, far fewer now wearing masks than even a week ago - customers at the market stalls, a lot of kids (why weren't they in school?), runners, lunchers and cyclists.  Oh, plus an artist painting the High Street - again -  and a pesky blipper!

Which reminds me, thank you all for allowing me yesterday off commenting.  I was reeling from exhaustion by the time I sat down at the computer last night, but a good sleep has worked wonders.
