Lunchtime view
We had quite a lot to do today and were expecting an electrician to come round this evening to do several jobs so decided to take a break at lunchtime and head out for something to eat, especially as we didn’t feel we could cook and eat a meal while the electrician was here. We went to the cafe at Wiveton Hall (of ‘Normal for Norfolk’ fame, if anyone used to watch that); at the moment the tables are all outdoors and spread across the bottom end of the farm, with quite an efficient system whereby you order at a window and are given a buzzer which buzzes and vibrates to tell you when your food is ready to collect.
It was a lovely morning with hot sunshine, so looking out from our table across the marshes to the sea in the distance was very pleasant, and the food was OK too.
And the electrician? Well, he came round to tell us his boss had sent him on an emergency callout to Cromer where someone was without power, so couldn’t do our jobs. He’ll be back next Thursday..
