Found a coffee shop

Back to the lake but different car park and today we walked round the lake. The information in the carpark said six and half miles, allow four hours. Won’t take anywhere near we thought, we were wrong and it took three and half. Going was good and very easy on one side and then when we started back up the other side it got harder, lots of streams to cross and Hetty not keen on crossing on stones and won’t walk through water. We passed a family and then a couple both told us it gets a bit rough and a bit of a scramble, and it did. At one bit we had to pass Hetty down as it was too rocky for her to jump.
We nearly walked passed the Herdwicks on the shore as they blended in with the rocks.
Found a coffee shop in nearby village and had a very acceptable flat white before heading back to site.
Hour read before cooking dinner. Cooler and a bit of drizzle was today’s weather.
