Cheddar Gorge

We drove through the impressive limestone gorge at Cheddar, Somerset before tackling the cliff top walk.

The gorge is almost 400 feet deep and three miles long. It would have begun to form about one million years ago during the last Ice Age.

The walk itself is only 4 miles but it has two very steep ascents. Great walking day, perfect weather!
