The old foundry

A morning walk with my friend before the long drive to Nantes. Visiting this old iron foundry which was last making the keys that turn the lids on sardine tins before it closed down in the 1960’s. Arrived in Nantes to rush hour, getting somewhat snarled up, so it was a relief to deposit Sula on her pitch at the campsite, unload the bike and go traffic jamming on two wheels up to see my niece. Extra pics are the early morning views of sunrise and moonset from my top floor eyrie in the Dordogne.
