NICE TO BLIP YOU, TO BLIP YOU NICE

Such a dreich day today and although still tired I didn't have a Tai Chi session this morning (my fault, I thought I wasn't going to be able to attend) so I decided I would pop over to Arnside to their little Country Market in the WI Hall.

It is such lovely little market.  Some great local  fresh produce, bakery items, cakes, plants, crafts etc.  Only small but perfectly formed.

This is fellow blipper Janepetlryjones, it was so lovely to meet her face to face at last, her friend Janet is next to her.  Jane has a lovely stall there, selling her own bread, chutneys and jams.  I've bought a nice small loaf and some bramble jelly (my favourite jam is blackberry) so yum. 

It was so dreich though, that I simply strolled along by the pier and had hoped to go for a coffee but sadly The Wagtail is no more, the new owners have not yet re-opened and the Posh Sardine wasn't open so it wasn't to be.  

Surprisingly for such a dreich day there quite a few poeple around, not busy but more than I expected - all walkers by the look of them,, so very hardy folk.

I've put together a collage of photos I took today, mainly of the boats and have turned them black & white as everything was grey anyway.  I had hoped to get some nice misty shots, but no, not exactly misty such dreich.

I've only just realised that I haven't done my LetsDo52 challenge this week of LongExposure.  I was hoping to go for another moon shot but the weather isn't up for that tonight.  I  doubt I'll be able to set something up so I will just have to enjoy everyone else's entries instead - there'll be some crackers no doubt.
