Drifts

I have some time off work to use up the rest of this year's leave so as it is sunny I went to find a snowy scene to photograph. I had to go up to the moors (not really any snow left down here) and it was indeed still very snowy; I drove past huge (and quite daunting) piles of the stuff where it had blown over the road and been cleared. It was very windy as I had expected but I had wrapped up well except for gaiters so got snow in my boots about 10 metres from the car. Otherwise the paths were quite dry and apart from afew short flurries it was clear most of the time. When the sun came out now and again it was beautiful and no-one else around - perfect start to the week. Hope yours is too!
