Mystery solved
This monster of a plant in my garden has been a mystery to me since last year when it just grew and grew and it got me a bit worried so I cut it down to the ground. This year it just grew again and is even bigger. After searching on the internet again, at last I have found what it is.
Paulownia Tomentosa also called Foxglove tree. It originates in China and in warm climate it will produce flowers resembling foxglove.
Cutting it down to the ground in spring turns out to be just what you need to do and within weeks it will grow to over 6m high, just like this one. In colder climate it will not flower but the leaves are huge.
The strange thing is, I never planted it. It just appeared last year from nowhere.
