500 Blips today....

......I think.  Thought I should make a change from flowers at the allotment for the occasion!
Unpromising early start to the day for meet up with Camera Club colleague "stevvi" to take some shots of our new Club venue but the planned dappled early sunlight did not happen.  Hoping for a classy shot to accompany a press statement about our move after 65 years from the Community Centre to a new build wooden church next to a woodland Nature Reserve.  Hope to attract some new Members.
Stevvi busied himself with some great shots of dog Mia who was being exercised in the adjacent field.  Gave up waiting for the promised sun which then appeared at the latest forecast time of 10am.  Decided to pop in to Westwood and a full strong sun appeared giving good light.  Unusual for me,  as I love colour,  I flipped across to "dark mono" mode and was quite pleased with the result.
My car needed diesel  and as soon as the news about shortages was aired last night (thanks for that) I knew I should have gone straight out even at midnight and filled up but....too late - none to be had anywhere.
