Emergency Blip Food Equivalent
I love home-made burgers and I always keep the freezer well stocked with mincemeat.
So if I can´t think of anything interesting to cook or if the fridge is runing low on ingredients or, simply, if I have a hankering, then a burger will be my go-to-guy for belly-bulging satisfaction.
Usually, I store the mince so that 2 burgers, at least, can be made. Today, however, I was feeling particularly gluttonous and knew Sandra wouldn't be around to need one too.
So, hence this monster! Mixed through with finely chopped parsley and Serrano chillies. Then melted Cheddar cheese. Then fried onions and sautéd yellow peppers on top and the whole lot squeezed between those itty-bitty buns.
The eating of this is not neccessarily a dignified affair, but certainly is a very satisfactory one.
