Beesands and Start Point

Today we walked around 12km from Slapton to Beesands and on a little towards Start Point along the coastal path.  It has been a beautiful sunny day, although it did cloud over just as we were enjoying fish & chips above the beach at Torcross.  My blip is the view down onto Beesands from the path.  In the distance you can see Start Point with the lighthouse at the far end and you might see the masts of Start Point Transmitting Station on top of the hill (just to the right of centre).

When our children were young I used to point out transmitter sites when we were travelling - which generally became a poke fun at dad event for years to come :-)
