Reintroducing endangered species to carefully selected locations in the Morecambe Bay Area.
This is Heather, the Project Officer, and we were busy helping to plant more Green winged Orchids. They are such small seedlings, only one or two cm tall, but we plant them in hope of flowers in a year or two!
We have had a little rain in the last few days so conditions have improved for them, and they will be monitored for water regularly.
In extras, a Fell Pony busy helping with Nature Reserve management!
Also today, Arnside Market, not so busy this week but most goodies went, and Flavia popped in to see us! Hi!!
