Collecting

A bright, warm and very sunny day. Time for a spot of seed collecting from the allotment - calendula and love-in-a-mist shown here. Satisfying to hope this year’s plants will bring flowers and joy next year.

Whilst there I pulled up the sweet corn plants and harvested their cobs, then filled the hole once filled by the gooseberry bush so carefully guarded by Merlin last weekend. There is another gooseberry bush to remove so he will have another hole to claim at a later date!

More coursework this morning. Nearly finished my essential oil and base oil assignments. Very interesting to learn about the chemistry and resulting properties and uses of the oils.
