This much snow in late March? Only in Illinois...

This morning we woke to several inches of snow covering everything like a blanket. Some people have measured at 6 inches and others say 12 inches. All I know is that when I walked into my back yard the snow hit above my knee....so that's a lot of snow. I love the way everything looks right after a fresh snow. What I love even more is smacking my son and/or husband in the back of the head with a snow ball. I got a good giggle out of that thought this morning and hope you do too!
