Two swans a-swimming

Darn that balustrade that really got in the way tonight when I tried to photograph the 2 swans which glided by!

Funny story from the neighbour today: apparently the swans from the local duck pond periodically waddle down to the river, crossing two busy roads. Then they are helped by locals who open any gates in the way to let the swans through, irrespective of whether it’s private property or not. So we may have swan-gate/ swan rage round here sometime soon!
