Late afternoon on the Caledonian Canal

Had a bit of a change on this day and went for a walk in town. I combined it afterwards with picking up my daughter from her Climbing session at the Leisure Centre....the canal path is really close to the carpark for that.

I'll see if I can manage to put in a few extras from the same walk. This time I was walking on the opposite side to normal for a change, and I noticed a cute Nessie mural. Plus I loved the contrast between the still surface of the water before the boat came along, and then the churned up, ripply water in it's wake (main photo).
