Guess what Esme got for her birthday?

Alan and Vicky headed off to Dundee with Andrew after lunch as his mum was meeting them there to pick him up.  He's happy there is a date in the diary for his return :-)


Esme turned 3 while we were away on holiday so we arranged to visit today to see her and wish her a belated Happy Birthday.

This run of lovely weather continued and we were able to sit outside.  I'd made Malteser slice when we got back from holiday yesterday (some for Andrew and some for Esme) so we all enjoyed some with tea.  Esme really enjoyed it as evidenced by the state of her hands and face when she finished eating it.  I was glad I'd taken this photo before she ate it!  

Spent a lovely afternoon with Esme and her mum and Dad.  Our niece Jen popped in so we saw her too.  

Esme was keen to show us her Princess dress and shoes so she got changed and clip clopped her way round the patio.  She insisted David try on a pair of her Princess shoes.  Sadly they didn't fit.  He is not Cinderella!

Came home, had dinner and flaked out.  It was a great week but it's good to be home :-))
