Lunch in the garden
For the first time this year, the weather was warm enough when we had time to eat in the garden - spring is here! Not far away from us, Veronica noticed it too. We had an early trip to the airport to meet E (who had had an even earlier start) and then realised when we got home that lunch outside would be possible. Using the Jerusalem book again, I made these red pepper and baked egg galettes, adding some goats' cheese too. After lunch LoJ and E scrambled around in the rougher areas of our garden (that's most of it this year as we haven't done much work there yet) and picked a good bunch of wild asparagus to add to our supper tonight. See Guiri's blip today for a close-up of this delicious little spear.
