Today's the day ......................... for a walk in the park

Much too cold for anyone to be sitting on a park bench today.

But at least we don't have any snow - unlike those in west Cumbria with 8 foot drifts. And we have electricity - unlike those on the Isle of Arran and the west of Scotland who have been cut off for four days already. I heard on the radio today that England nearly ran out of gas at the weekend because everyone had all their heaters on at the same time.

It seems it doesn't take much out of the ordinary to cause us huge problems all round .........................
