Raggedy dahlia

Oh dear, the only pic I took today was of this somewhat ragged dahlia in my blue jug. I picked it although it’d fallen down and the petals nibbled by tiny snails. They are a tonic and a joy at this time of year and a joy in the vase. 

Busy day full of zooms and I had targeted planting a handful of bulbs at some point but it didn’t happen.
