Fairweather Friend

A beautiful evening for a wander and a gander. Wispy high clouds over the marsh caught my eye, moving in an ever changing swirls in the light breeze. Unfortunately, they herald a change in fortunes with rain in the forecast tomorrow.

This image is from a single frame taken at 18mm. Wanting to include more sky, I tried again, unsuccessfully, to take a pano, by tilting the camera upwards. However, after stitching, the line of the grass where it meets the trees wavered up and down. I expect with a lot of fiddling in Photoshop I might correct the problem, but I think I need a better capture method.
