Wonderful walking…

this morning, sunny and with autumn tints. The Plateau looked good too. There were geriatric Speckled Wood and Red Admiral butterflies around and Black Darter dragonflies. Overhead, many more skeins of geese came in, this time  clearly seen as Pink footed.Had to add this Hawthorn Shieldbug, as the book says it is not common in Scotland.
