The 'C' word

Yep, I'm going to say it:  Christmas!  I don't know how many days we have to go (BandParent will be able to tell us, but it's 3 months to the day) but the press over here seem to be talking about nothing else - Christmas won't happen, fuel shortages mean families won't be able to meet up, there'll be nothing to eat because of the CO2 shortages, no-one can afford to heat their homes anyway because of the hike in gas prices and we won't be able to afford presents because of the new National Insurance levy.  And by the look of this blip all holly berries will have ripened long before December and been eaten by birds, for goodness sake!!

I suggest we send Boris out on his bike with a false beard and some tastefully wrapped giftos to distribute.  We could start sending in our lists now - to 'Up the Spout, Downing Street'.

Arrrrgh!
