Green September Days

Whenever I go cycling to try to cycle up or down this path.
In spring the spring green is so lovely and in summer it is green and shady here, the matter how hot it is.
And this year? It's almost October and everything is still green and today it was hot in the sun - almost too hot to sit in it.
But soon the autumn colours will take over and there will be leaves all over the path. I can already hear the crunchy sound they make. I'll be back.
