Putting the work in

Had a good sleep and felt a bit better today, so we set off for a town and shops day. Hadn't gone far before we decided we needed brunch, so stopped at Room & Rumours and loaded up for the day.
Lots of walking (18,000 steps in total) and browsing - she got lots of the things she was looking for - a new bag, stationery, pens, moisturiser, blouse and nearly some trainers (we looked at lots but will have to go back to get the right ones!) 
After we'd done the town we tried out the new El Cartel off the High St and she had her favourite tacos before home to get the car and head out to Ikea. We got the plastic boxes and some other storage stuff (first time I've ever been round without tea lights!) then headed round to Sports Direct and Dunelm for the last few things. We were pretty much on our knees by then but managed to get the last few things we needed including the curtain wires for her to put floaty nets up at the windows in her room.
Home for a much needed cup of tea before hanging the curtains then I left her to unpack more of her stuff whilst I lay on the sofa....whacked out, but pleased we got so much done
