our 'place'

our house here overlooks a square, actually more of a circle. Its the oldest part of the town and what's called the 'cellera'. Having once been the heart of the town where the first church and school were sited, with houses originally around the church and surrounded by the old city wall , its now a rather quiet area. Its used mainly by children playing and as a meeting place for teenagers of an evening. Most seem very well behaved. Its good to see the children sitting here playing an old fashioned game of cards rather than being at home playing virtual video games or on their phones.
