Awesome!

We’ve had an awesome day today for Eda’s birthday party! She’s not actually 4 till Tuesday but all her friends came today to help her celebrate.

I asked her later what was the best part and she was equally pleased with her face painting, which was a surprise until the lady who does am drams with Grace arrived to do it, and her Merpup cake.

As you can see virtually all the girls chose unicorn face paints and the Merpup was Eda’s choice, apparently an offshoot from Paw Patrol. It is sitting in blue jelly and we were up till quite late last night finishing it. My first gluten free cake mix and it turned out well.

Most of the children also dressed up from Eda’s dressing up box. They had a great time. Jude joined in after her nap and seemed to thrive on the company.

Most people left about five fifteen but apart from putting the tiny ones to bed the neighbours stayed till 8.30. Quite a lot of fizz was consumed and Eda and the older ones left were playing ghosts with torches in the garden! 

This really is a super community and with friends old and new together today we couldn’t have had a better time so glad we were invited!

In the extra are the same three friends that I took on Eda’s second birthday and Jude on the bike Eda got for her first birthday.

 Really tired now so I’m afraid comments will be in short supply tonight
