Miracle of engineering

When MrM went out cycling this afternoon, I made sure that I had some aerobic exercise on the bike, and then a brisk walk down to the river and back. After yesterday's crawling around on the floor, it was good to stretch my legs and get some fresh air.

On the way back home I passed this hedge, covered in hundreds and hundreds of spiders' webs, each one a small miracle of engineering.

Too out of sorts for the traditional Friday wine yesterday, but a glass or two of red were enjoyed this evening.
