What a Fun Day!

My granddaughter and I had such a great time today. She always insists on bacon for breakfast, typically with olive bread and olives. A girl after my own heart! We did crafts and played games and completely forgot to plant radish seeds. What a joy she is! 8 years old in 2 weeks!

I didn’t have much time or energy after I delivered her home late this afternoon, so I only did a quick visit to the garden. This is the first year that I planted a coleus directly in the ground and it’s been incredibly successful. I’ll take cuttings (this plant was from a cutting last fall) this fall and will root them over the winter. Isn’t it beautiful?
