Friendly Nuthatch
It was a long lazy day at home, with damp fog and periods of heavy rain. That's probably why the chickadees and nuthatches were so bold at the feeder, coming right down even while I stood there taking photos. The gray squirrel was lingering about, as were some mourning doves, but they were more cagey and circumspect. I suspect a turkey was hiding out of sight back in the woods. I was a bit surprised to see my wife had put this feeder back up. The last time it was out a bear bent the pole down, broke it open, and ate all the seeds.
