These people are passengers en route from Vancouver to New Brunswick. I wanted to chat to them and get some close ups, but just as I approached the whistle blew and they got back on board. I need not have hurried...their 3 km train, which also consisted of wagons carrying crude oil and potash, trudged on at a sedate walking pace.
