Frames

I'm starting a 10 week recreational photography class in April so looking for a camera that allows manual controls. No point in me buying a big one with different lenses because I just won't carry that stuff around, so its got to be fairly compact. I've been recommended the canon G15 and if anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Went I to town today to have a browse and to look at Which magazine in the library, but by the time I got there the library was closing. Bought some frames though.
