Beams on the landscape..

Glimpses of sunshine today were highlighting the distant fields..deep snowdrifts everywhere along the country lanes leaving the exposed fields with little snow on them. In places I came across snowdrifts 6 feet deep. However the temperature here reached 5 degrees so there was a lot of melt going on.

It lifted my heart to see the sun do hope we might get more.. I love shadows!!
