Ascent

More indoor pursuits today. Still blisteringly cold. The Edinburgh International Climbing Arena (EICA) is the largest indoor climbing arena in Europe, and happens to be just 10 minutes up the Union Canal from where I live. Result! It was pretty quiet today, but there were a few people training, and several children get lessons, bouldering etc. This guy was pretty good, and struck some fairly photogenic poses on the way up. The climbing walls are themselves photogenic - I like the various little motivs that have been put into the concrete- presumably for the entertainment of the climbers. This man is about 30 feet off the ground.

We're off to Prague for a few days tomorrow, so I'll be back-blipping over the weekend. I'm hoping for some exotic photo opportunities.
