Layers

The light was quite strange this morning when I walked up to the belvedere. It was warm but this was not the heat haze of high summer but the air was humid and moisture filled. We were able briefly to ring all ten bells this morning. We had friends round last night and it was a late night so I did not do much in the afternoon beyond watching football and reading my book.
