Paisley Cathedral

Continuing our ‘visit every mainland local authority in Scotland ‘ theme of 2021, we headed through to Paisley in Renfrewshire this morning. It was warmer and sunnier than expected. If this had been in a city on the continent, the area around the cathedral would have had well frequented expensive pavement cafes and bistros. That may come, as we read Paisley does have plans to do more to revitalise the centre and attract tourists. The town hall is at present undergoing a major restoration.
