The Tarmachan Ridge

Just back in Edinburgh after a wonderful weekend of walking up near Killin - was one of our regular (but somewhat delayed, this time round), large 'Group Get-Togethers' ...

... we we're staying in the Craggan Centre (on the Southern edge of Loch Tay), which I'd originally booked for May 2020; re-arranged for October 2020; then again for May 2021 - but 4th time lucky, we finally got there in September 2021 :-)

On the Saturday, we had a most enjoyable (if not a little damp!) day, traversing the Tarmachan Ridge - managed to get 17-folk & 2 dogs along the full length without any major incident ...

... I've realised this snap is taken from almost the exact same point as back in January 2019 when 'R' and I last walked the ridge. As you can see, the visibility was much the same :-(

Nevertheless, certainly a walking-day to remember :-)
