Chair Repair

We've had this chair for a long time and like it.  In fact I think Bb had it before we got married.  The right arm keeps becoming unstuck and we've always just kept glueing it back on till it gets unstuck again.  This time, I've tried something else and done the same to the other arm too - just so that it doesn't feel left out - a bit like the poem 'The Sair Finger' http://www.robertburns.plus.com/puddock.htm#Sair
This repair's obviously a bit less subtle than glue (!) but does mean we can push back or lift the chair by its arms now and I think it will last. You can't really see it here, but I pleated the cotton strips to make them thicker and stronger. Not sure if that added anything though!
