After the Excitement

Chaiyya had a difficult morning today, because she needed to go to the vet. Due to her health issues, her immune system is not as strong as it should be. Recently, the fur on her head and left ear got infested by harvest mite larvae - tiny bugs, hard to see and not dangerous, but obviously very itchy.
 
So she had to go into the carrier case and the car, and we drove to the vet. She was not happy about it, but didn't howl all the way and back, which is a huge improvement compared to the last times. 

Here she is, an hour or so after we got back home; still exhausted and fast asleep on a chair in my office. 

The rest of the day I worked, and occasionally looked at the news websites. But we'll probably have to wait several weeks before a next government for Germany will/might be formed.
