Feeling Sluggish

Absolutely exhausted again today after no sleep to speak of last night. It rained all morning so I didn’t get out for a walk. We nipped to the studio to do a final cleanup and collect the last few bits - just some cleaning materials, a vacuum cleaner, a small stepladder a few tools and some odds and ends.

This afternoon I lifted the lid on our compost bin (to put some kitchen scraps in) and the underside was covered with slugs and worms, including this character. I guess they like their ‘home’.

We had an anxious 24 hours as our youngest granddaughter was taken for a ‘tickly nose test’ (PCR COVID-19 test)  after developing symptoms yesterday morning - we had been looking after her on Friday so were concerned we had been exposed.

Fortunately the result came through this afternoon (excellent turnaround) and was negative - phew!
