Sanderling at Spurn Point

Sanderlings are normally seen in small flocks, but this one was on its own and didn't seem to mind me being around at all. 

This is a backblip.  I'm posting  it on Monday the 27th September whilst still recovering from Covid 19. Despite the fact that I am double vaccinated,  I have been quite ill with it. Four days of fever and a complete loss of my sense of smell. Not much of a cough though.  People seem to suffer different symptoms. 

Overall, this has not been a good month for me, but I am starting to feel better and I do have some more photos to backblip at some point.
