Sleeping Swans

A sunny day with brief showers

After a quiet morning we went out for a 3 mile walk to Trottick Ponds and back. We saw these Swans who seem to be asleep. After seeing the photo it reminded me of paintings by John Constable.

I have now reached 80 miles for the month - it might be possible to reach 90 in three days.
