a bit grim

Today's trip to Westray was booked to fit in with work that had to be done and before I had realised that the forecast was for rain.

The forecast turned out to be completely accurate. It rained non-stop all day. This really does make outside work grim. Having wet feet, I think, would make the cheeriest of people a bit glum.

I was very pleased to get home this evening and get properly warm and dry.
